Clinton's Quilt

Here is something I have been working on for more than a year.  My goal was for each of my four grandchildren to have a quilt from me.  Clinton's is the last of the four.  The blue and white fabrics on the front are cut from my husbands discarded dress shirts with red quilting cottons added  for some color punch.  I used a variation of the disappearing nine patch pattern for the blocks.

The quilting on  my Innova took only a few hours.  I used C&C cotton variegated red, white and blue thread top and bobbin (love it!)  There is piano key quilting on the border and a simple medium sized meander on the blocks.  All it needs is a label and then off to a new home in Arizona!
